I like all the things they are doing but I would also include use of

1. ULTRA CAPACITORS
2. GAS TURBINE ENGINE
3. 4 WHEEL ELECTRIC MOTORS   

Ultracapacitors cannot hold as much juice as batteries, but they will store all they can IMMEDIATELY and dispense it immediately.

A Gas Turbine Engine is like a small jet engine. Uses a fan, not pistons. Will more readily burn almost anything that CAN BURN.

Big Biz is scared to death of the Gas Turbine Engine. Give us too many options.

Has successfully scared every car maker into NOT GOING INTO PRODUCTION with it.

I read that some automakers are going to move to HYDROGEN and away from pure electric for a while.

I do not have an accurate picture for now so this one is just of a vanilla hybrid but...

I am thinking why not have a central control box that can accept a variety of devices to provide and store energy for use in the vesicle.

Vehicle would have electric motors IN all 4 wheels.

Would accept/store/direct power from/to:

• HYDROGEN FUEL CELL
• HI-TECH BATTERY
• ULTRA-CAPACITORS
• GAS TURBINE ENGINE w/Alternator (CAN BURN ANYTHING)
• GAS ENGINE w/Alternator
• DIESEL ENGINE w/Alternator

Could use any or all of the above at the same time

Would ALWAYS accept electrical input from plug-in source.

TURBINE and PISTON engines may burn HYDROGEN as fuel.

Up-gradable to accept ANY new devices that generate or store energy.

Will have appropriate graphic soon.

HYDROGEN FUELING

In the 21st century we should use 3 fuels.

1. ELECTRICITY
2. HYDROGEN
3. ETHANOL

We can fuel our cars at home with the first two.

1. ELECTRICITY - from the GRID or SOLAR
2. HYDROGEN - Made via ELECTRICITY or NATURAL GAS

ETHANOL is used in the gasoline we buy now. Either E15 or E85.

We should migrate all conventional/hybrid cars to E85 or E100.

Looks like INDY is getting into the electric car sharing business in addition to the bike sharing business.

It's a done deal.

They will be here for 15 years weather they are popular or not.

500 cars in 200 spots.

I like this one very much.

The first one is on Washington Street down by the Circle City mall.

There are also electric car recharge stations already around INDY and the WORLD.

Australia, on Thursday July 10, 2014 will fire up a new nuclear fusion reactor.

Containing the reaction is the key.

In order to simulate the sun, we must make our reaction much hotter, because we cannot match the suns crunch power.

HONDA has got a home energy station.

It takes natural gas from the home gas-line and converts it to hydrogen.

The unit provides power for the home and also HYDROGEN to power the fuel cell car.

They claim 30% lower CO2 emissions than a regular house using natural gas, electricity and a gasoline powered car.

2015 HYUNDAI HYDROGEN CAR DELIVERED

The first 2015 Hyundai Hydrogen fuel-cell powered car was delivered in California.

Other companies will follow in the 2015 model year with Hydrogen fuel-cell powered cars.

These cars are zero polluting, except of course for the pollution made in their creation and the creation/delivery of their hydrogen fuel.

The Hydrogen fuel itself is not polluting. Creates water as output.

Why the car companies and their cars always "TOOK THE HEAT" for their pollution I will never know.

It was the "FUEL OF CHOICE" that was ALWAYS THE PROBLEM.

DOE spends $2M to help hydrogen happen 

Hydrogen is the end game as far as using a "fuel" in a car.

It is clean in it's use in the car.

The only "GOTCHA" is the energy used and pollution created in it's making, storing and transporting.

But it is much easier to control these things at a central location/plant than making each car have to burn a dirty fuel (gasoline) cleanly.

Until we can go pure electricity, this is something we need to move to.

MOVING AWAY FROM GASOLINE

Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle

I heard on the news that INDY has moved to using compressed natural gas as a fuel to their service trucks.

This is good, in that they will be getting used to using a compressed gas as fuel.

We should be moving to:

1. E85 - Ethanol/Gasoline Blend  
2. Hydrogen
3. Electricity

As the things that power our vehicles and anything that has a motor of any sort.

Indiana should embrace using Ethyl Alcohol as a fuel as it can produce it's own.

Better to control the pollution at a central site rather than trying to make each auto non-polluting.

Hyundai, Toyota and Honda will be coming out with hydrogen powered fuel cell cars.

You may want to find out more about these vehicles.

Indiana has NO hydrogen fuel stations, but California will.

This is one change that I think will be good for everyone.

We spent the whole 20th century burning a dirty and nasty fuel.

Big Biz wants us to use fuels that they can "buy up" and control.

Some of the very first autos used electricity and alcohol to power them.
