It was stated that a small THORIUM power plant could power this car for 100 years on 8 grams of fuel.

The THORIUM reactor was developed at the OAK RIDGE NATIONAL LABORATORY.

The NIXON administration decided to get rid of the THORIUM project and use the type of FISSION reactor we have today.

Which includes:
     FUEL that is radioactive and deadly for everything on the planet.
     FUEL that is rare and can be isolated and controlled.
     FUEL that is very expensive

Also, the THORIUM REACTOR could make other elements, something BIG BIZ wants no part of.

They were so afraid that they might do something like making gold or silver with it.

Even though the scientists and engineers told them that they COULD NOT MAKE GOLD WITH IT.

It was just to threatening for them.

So, NIXON and BIG BIZ got rid of  every bit of the project, including notes and so forth.

Also politics where involved too.

Australia, on Thursday July 10, 2014 will fire up a new nuclear fusion reactor.

Containing the reaction is the key.

In order to simulate the sun, we must make our reaction much hotter, because we cannot match the suns crunch power.

The Fusion reaction is a combination of high heat and a strong magnetic field to contain it.

The sun has a high gravitational field to help it contain the Fusion reaction it has.

NOT THE NON-CHARGED NEUTRON.

RADIATION IS ALMOST ELIMINATED.

ELECTRICITY CAN BE GENERATED DIRECTLY FROM THE REACTION.

NO ENERGY LOSS BY HEATING STEAM AND TURING TURBINES TO CREATE ELECTRICITY.
