YEP.

This is what I talk about when I mention "the slippery slope."

You start off with an alleged good excuse to enact a law, then over time the law is mutated into something that had nothing to do with it's original intent....allegedly.

Of course, the original intent of the law was intended to do exactly what it finally morphs into.

An onerous, egregious removal of your freedom.

First the law stated .16 was drunk.

Then .14.

Then .12.

Then .08.

Now  .07!

Now NOT FOR JUST DRIVING... for WALKING or ...JUST BREATHING!!!

They initially had to have a good excuse to pull you over, like weaving all over the road.

Well, a few thousand NON broken tail lights...turn into outright routine lying by the cops that you were driving "like you were drunk."

Now has morphed into this stop everybody in a line, strap them down and put a needle in their arm!!!

THIS HAS GONE WAY TOO FAR!!!
