An aneutronic Fusion reactor would be the best.

A non-anuetronic Fusion reactor would be second best.

A Thorium reactor would be down the line a little.

A Thorium - Plutonium Fission reactor would be much better than the Plutonium reactors we have today, that are dangerously radioactive and create radioactive spent fuel that will be around for tens of thousands of years.

The Thorium oxide / Plutonium oxide fuels will be much safer / cleaner than todays Fission reactor fuels.

Hard Scientists cannot prove that species actually "BECOME" a NEW species.

By Definition a species CANNOT mate with a DIFFERENT (NEW) species and their offspring have children.

So, once a single member of a given species takes that first baby step toward being A DIFFERENT (NEW) species, it could NO LONGER MATE with its immediately previous species member.

And because it was the first, it could not mate with any other, unless of course, two (or more) took the baby step forward during their same lifetimes AND had the EXACT SAME genetic mutations that ALLOWED them to successfully mate and have fertile offspring!!!!!!

AND.

Since this is an ongoing evolutionary process, these little details would have to happen a HUGE NUMBER OF TIMES ongoing for the species (old/new/newer....) to NOT BECOME EXTINCT!!!

Now, again the self-proclaimed "HARD SCIENTISTS," claim that the phenotype changes that occur (the outer looks / functions of a creature) are HARD SCIENTIFIC proof a new species having evolved.

Meaning the GENOTYPE has changed.
