New legislation being pushed by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) to hike the H-1B visa cap is drawing criticism and warnings that it will lead to an increase in offshoring of tech jobs.
ORRIN HATCH H-1B TO TAKE HIGH TECH JOBS
GO ORRIN HATCH H1B
This will hand over more american high tech jobs to non natural born Americans.
Upping the limit on how many can come into the U.S.
I used to be in the computer business.
A lot of Indians and Pakistani's were put into jobs that natural born Americans could have been placed into.
The excuse was there were not enough qualified Americans for the jobs.
THAT IS PURE BULL.....
The owners of the job shops that placed them there were getting PAYED to do so.
Many of these people already come from money in their own countries and are using this as an excuse to get into the US.
Because of their not needing anymore money than they already have, they will work for peanuts!!!
After talking to an owner of a high tech placement company about this back in 1995, I got the feeling she was being payed EXTRA cash to place these people.
When I talked with her about the subject, her eyes got real BIG!
OTHER SENATE CO-SPONSORS
Amy Klobuchar (D-Mn.)
Marco Rubio (R-Fla.)
Chris Coons (D-Del.)
Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.)
Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.)
Using the "better for the economy" and "free enterprise" excuse just does not work in this case.
Sounds to me more like they are being paid, or part of a conspiracy / agenda.
These people are up to something...
