WATCHING WITHOUT CAMERAS

Sounds fantastic doesn't it.

Well in a 1963 episode of the Outer Limits television show this was depicted.

"A new device, the O.B.I.T. (Outer Band Individuated Teletracer) machine, allows the observation of anyone, anywhere, at any time."

Outer Band Individuated Teletracer

Opening narration

In this room, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, security personnel at the Defense Department's Cypress Hills Research Center keep constant watch on its scientists through O.B.I.T., a mysterious electronic device whose very existence was carefully kept from the public at large. And so it would have remained but for the facts you are about to witness…

Writers have many times predicted future REAL events first presented as science fiction.

I think some writers are simply privy to new technologies before they are announced to the public.

The O.B.I.T. episode stars Peter Breck from Big Valley fame and character actor Jeff Corey as the alien who brought the technology to earth.

Jeff Corey and I have/had a couple of things in common.

We were both born on August 10.

and...

Both were BLACKLISTED!!!

He during the 50's communist witch hunt thing.

You may be seeing your smartphones using T-RAYS in the near future. They are relatively harmless and can see through walls, skin, clothes, etc.

However the technology illustrated in the Outer Limits episode is a bit "more out there"  in that you can "tune into" a persons "frequency" and see them wherever they are.
