I thought something was up when I walked into the gas station/convenience store and two of my fellow bums were there with that "Gotcha Grin" on their faces.
Sure enough.
I was cashing out when the register tough guy says "you haven't got any money!"
You bum (implied).
I was under real time mind control. I was NOT thinking about exactly what day of the month it really was.
I was just thinking "this is the day my food stamp card kicks back in."
That is one example of how it works folks.
