-- I learned this stuff when I was on a semi-health kick back in 1980ish.
I used to buy FRUCTOSE in little packets from the health food store.

Hey gang.
ETHANOL is made from the NON-GRAIN part of the corn plant that WE DON'T EAT.
ETHANOL would be in competition with CATTLE FEED.
There are over 4,000 products that have corn in them, including PAPER, BEEF, PORK, CHICKEN, and a bunch more stuff.
Human food is just one of the things corn is used for.
ETHANOL can be made from almost any plant.
There are plants that we don't eat (like grasses) that can be used to make ETHANOL too.
Brasil is BIG on ETHANOL, they use a lot of SUGAR CANE to make theirs.
Most people you read or hear talking about ETHANOL ill-effecting our HUMAN food supply, usually will be a PRO-FOSSIL FUEL/ANTI-ETHANOL guy for whatever reason.
Jay Leno was just talking down ETHANOL after years of talking it UP.
WHAT UP?
We have been breathing foul dirty air now for 100 years.
It's better to have something going on as opposed to NOTHING!
