FAITH BASED STUFF

The homeless Mission and the "free" food and clothes are mostly given by "Faith Based Groups."

It is a good thing that they are there helping the needy, but as with everything , it does come at some cost.

Some of those I will go into later, but one of those is the price of admission to the Mission.

That price is one hour of your undivided attention per day at chapel service.

Last night I was asking about why two books usually in the old testament were included with a free handout of the new testament.  These two books are Proverbs and Psalms.

The Instructor/Preacher told me his view of it and others around me told me theirs.

Before I knew it, the issue of the 613 Jewish Commandments that the Missions preachers do NOT like to talk about came up.  I ask the Preacher if they could be found in the King James Version of the Bible.  He said yes. The guy next to me said that it could be found starting in the book of Leviticus.

I opened my Bible to the book of Leviticus and began reading. I could not believe how pagan sounding it was. Like a step-by-step book for a pagan ritual.

One argument skeptics and Pro-Bible discuss is whether rabbits "chew their cud" or not.

The creation.com site does explain things in a "scientific" style, but that is not what concerns me.

It is the tone and the focus on "Worldly" things that does.

There are two links I found, one pro-Bible and one Bible skeptical:
