EBT No longer accepted at local store

EBT - Electronic Benefits Transfer (Food Stamps 21st Century) is no longer being accepted at a local small convenience store.

Store is located inside of  a food court that contains seating for people to eat their food they purchase.

Some/one of the security guards there is a real problem for the homeless people that come in there to use the   restroom and get out of the weather.

I mentioned to one of the guards one day that "I was a paying customer."

He got a real funny look on his face.

I suspect that the owner of the little convenience shop, the ONLY business in the food court that took the EBT card, is now being put under pressure to NOT TAKE THE EBT CARD, to get the type of people that don't have real money out of there.

The store owner first said he was getting a new EBT unit in a couple of weeks.  Now he says "maybe next month."
